Allow me to express on behalf of the government and people of Switzerland my sincere condolences for the terrible accident and the loss of so many promising lives. Our thoughts will stay with all those who are affected by this tragedy.

I have been closely following the developments connected to the tragic mishap of the Sewol ferry, off the southwestern coast of the Korean Peninsula on 16 April. While this accident has plunged the entire country into a state of deep mourning, I, on behalf of Air India, the national carrier of India, would like to express, deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives or are missing.
