ELS Educational Services, a leading Korean provider of English language programs, said Thursday that it has opened its first European center on the SKEMA campus near Nice, France.

The center will provide Korean students seeking to study in France as well as in other European countries with English language education.

ELS, with 50 years of expertise in assisting such students, has established language centers at universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, China and Malaysia that offer rigorous English preparation for non-native speakers.

ELS said SKEMA, which has campuses in Asia, Europe and America, is among France’s premier institutions for the study of business and economics taught entirely in English.

“France’s business schools are amongst the leaders in global management ranking for their practical and relevant approach to business education, and none more so than SKEMA,” said Mark Harris, president and chief executive officer of ELS.

“As such, we are especially proud to have this relationship with SKEMA Business School, a truly global institution, as the location of our first ELS International Pathway Center in Europe.”

According to ELS, students entering the new center at SKEMA will study its unique English for Academic Purposes program, which is designed to provide an intensive English language training experience and foster enhanced academic skills.
