Netizens are producing a slew of parodies poking fun at former presidential spokesman Yoon Chang-jung, who was fired over alleged sexual harassment of a 21-year-old Korean-American female intern in Washington last week.

The online derision gained further momentum after he held a press conference Saturday to deny all allegations, during which he attributed the incident to “cultural differences” and blamed the intern hired by the South Korean Embassy in Washington.

One netizen posted a composite movie poster: “Gone With the Grab,” a parody of “Gone With the Wind,” along with photos of Yoon looking comical. The satire is on a report provided by Washington police that stated Yoon “grabbed her buttocks without her permission.”

Another online commentator produced a parody poster of Hollywood blockbuster “Iron Man,” in which the face of main actor Robert Downey Jr. was replaced with Yoon’s. The movie title was changed to “Igo Son,” which means “Oh, My hands!”

Such parodies came as Yoon explained he was sitting on the opposite side of a long table from the intern, so it was “technically impossible to touch her.” Netizens came out with derisive comments, such as, “Then he used super powers like Iron Man.”

A parody regarding Namyang Dairy Products, which has faced opprobrium over its alleged business malpractice of forcing sales agents to buy more products than they needed, appeared as well.

A Netizen put a banner that read, “Thank you, Yoon,” into a photo in which executives and staff members of the firm give a public apology at a press conference last Thursday. This is because media reports about the nation’s leading dairy company have decreased following the Yoon incident, resulting in a decline of public criticism of the company.

Many commentators wrote comments such as “Yoon can receive Namyang milk as a gift for life,” and “A worker of the firm delivered free milk in front of Yoon’s house to thank him.”
