Japanese maritime police found another floating body, presumably that of another North Korean man, near the coast on Akita, local media reported Monday.
When the police picked up the body, it was that of a 162cm-tall male, and part of it had already decomposed, they said.
It looked like a North Korean because they found pictures of Kim Il-sung, the leader of North Korea from1948 to1994, and Kim Jong-il, his son and the succsessor from 1994 to 2011, in the pocket of his life vest, they added.
Their patrol began after a call alerting that 100 meter afar from the coast of Oga, what looked like a body was bobbing on the water.
Two days ago, near the coast of Nikada, the police found a body with a badge of Kim Il-sung, and Kim Jong-il.
The life vests those two were wearing had the same initials of one boat, and the police said that those two are believed to be linked.
