China has expressed concern about the deployment of the American B-2 in military exercises, saying that countries in the region are unsettled about the presence of such advanced aircraft for any reason.
Hung Lei, a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry, said the presence of the Stealth bomber does not sit well with the high tension on the Korean peninsula, adding that maintaining peace in the region is a responsibility of all parties concerned.
The comments were apparently referring to South Korea and the United States making a statement on the third nuclear weapons test that North Korea carried out last month.
Hung said aggression is not answer to what is developing on the Korean peninsula have to be found for more peaceful solutions.
