“A pop of this (Viagra) will blow women away. For the women, use this drug,” so was the suggestion from a 44-year-old Ryu to a 45-year-old Lee as they discussed the possibility of a sexual threesome.
Over dinner in Gwangju lin June last year among friends, Ryu passed over the pills to Lee. The plan was to get some women drunk and take advantage of them.
While the women went to the restroom, Ryu diced their drinks with what he said were drugs which actually turned out to be sugar.
The women became very physical after a few drinks, leading Lee to believe the strength of drug.
They went for a ride to Sunchon, South Jeolla Province and Ryu got out of the car with one of the women. Lee engaged in sexual intercourse with the remaining woman in the car.
A couple of days later, Lee received a visit from people who said they were acquaintances with the women he mingled with and was threatened with blackmail.
After giving it a lot of thought, Lee went to the police but they told him that if the case came out in the open, he would have to not only pay compensation but probably do time in prison.
Taking the advise, he came up with the 50 million won ($45,000) in settlement with the woman.
For his part, he provided the information necessary to place Ryu under arrest and indict seven others on charges of fraud.
