Police said Tuesday that they arrested a 35-year-old man on charges of rape and theft.
The man, armed with a knife, got into a house in Nam-gu, Incheon, around noon on Aug. 20 by pretending to be a delivery man of a parcel service company. He raped the 19-year-old female occupant, a police spokesman said.
The suspect, surnamed Kim, then stole 130,000 won in cash from the victim.
Kim is suspected of previously having committed similar offenses against two women.
He allegedly broke into houses eight times and stole valuables worth 7 million won. In June this year, he broke into a house in Namgu, Incheon, and stole valuables worth 2.6 million won, the spokesman said.
