Parties set to unseat two leftist lawmakers

The ruling Saenuri Party and the main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP) agreed to submit a motion to unseat two lawmakers of the minor leftist party, Reps. Lee Seok-ki and Kim Jae-yeon, Friday.

If the motion gains approval in the National Assembly, the two, who resisted calls to resign despite mounting pressure, will lose their parliamentary seats.
