The Underwood International College (UIC) at Yonsei University will be the venue for one of the largest multicultural university festivals in Korea next month, the school said Wednesday.

The U&I festival, the first of its kind to be held by the international college, will take place at the main auditorium of its Seoul campus on Nov. 11 and 12, a school official said.

Yonsei University students, prospective students and professors are to participate in the event. The school’s 800 exchange students and 300 students at the school’s Korean language institute will also participate.

During the festival, which will feature concerts, fashion shows, and traditional dance contests, the international college hopes to bring together diverse cultures.

A number of activities will be open to the public including performances from UIC’s rock band and dance team and a talent show held by Underwood Global Community, an international club with foreign and Korean students from a wide range of backgrounds at UIC.
