Representatives of participating countries in Expo 2012 Yeosu will hold the second international planning meeting in Seoul and Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, between April 5 and 7, the organizing committee said Sunday.

This is the second meeting following one a year ago. Some 250 people will attend including International Exhibitions Bureau Secretary General Vincente Gonzalez Loscertales and representatives of 92 participating countries and six international organizations.

The committee members will brief them on the preparation process and future schedules. They will also present detailed event guidelines for the participating nations, learn each country’s preparation process and collect their opinions.

After a welcome reception on April 5, the participants will inspect the event venue for the remaining two days.

Under the theme of “The Living Ocean and Coast,” the expo will be held in the southern port city for three months from May 12 in 2012.
