Pong Du-wan, chairman of the Korean-American Club, left for the United States, Thursday, to participate in the club's fourth seminar under the theme, "Korea-U.S. relations in the Lee Myung-bak presidency."
Pong was accompanied by four club members: Kim Chang-gi, president publisher of the Monthly Chosun; Kim Hak-soon, former executive director of Kyunghyang Daily; Kim Jin, editorial writer of the JoongAng Ilbo; and Shin Hyun-duk, professor of Seoul Polytech University.
