Singapore Airlines launched its A330-300 aircraft service on the Incheon-Singapore route Wednesday at Incheon International Airport.
The service departs Incheon at 9 a.m. and arrives in Singapore at 2:15 p.m. The return leg leaves Singapore's Changi Airport at 11:55 p.m. and touches down at Incheon the following day at 7 a.m.
The A330-300 aircraft is configured in a two-class layout with 30 new seats in business class and 255 in economy.
In business class there are incline lie-flat seats featuring an advanced control panel that allows customers to personalize their seating preferences. Passengers may also use discret personal screens between seats.
Economy class provides more personal space and increased legroom.
"The seats are especially designed for regional and medium haul routes and offer enhanced levels of comfort, privacy and functionality," the company said in a press release.
All customers can enjoy a variety of features such as the new KrisWorld, an award-winning in-flight entertainment system. Passengers can also look forward to iPod and iPhone connectivity on every seat, which will be the first in the world.
To mark the successful launch, the carrier held a special customer event Wednesday giving out souvenirs and allow opportunities to take photographs with Singapore Airlines cabin crew.
