Fan Drops Kilt on Live TV

Scottish rugby fan Keith Davies has become a controversial YouTube sensation after dropping his kilt on live TV.

The incident occurred on a live segment of the BBC show 'Wales Today' in the buildup to a rugby match between Scotland and Wales.

According to reports, the BBC received at least 50 complaints about the fan's exposure.

A Wales Today spokesperson told reporters: "Unfortunately one rugby fan got carried away with the moment."

The live video was quickly posted on YouTube where it received over 60,000 views before being taken offline over the weekend. One viewer commented - "This is why I love the Scottish."

Police are reported to be investigating the incident, and Davies may be charged for indecent exposure.

영국 BBC방송의 뉴스 프로그램인 '웨일즈 투데이' (Wales Today) 생방송 중에 한 스코트랜드 남성이 전통의상인 킬트를 내려 하반신이 완전히 드러나는 방송사고가 났다.

지난 13일 (현지시간) 열린 스코틀랜드와 웨일즈의 럭비게임이 중계되기 전 생방송으로 진행된 '웨일즈 투데이'는 스코틀랜드의 서포터를 취재하기 위해 글리니스에 위치한 하익 럭비클럽을 찾았다.

여성 리포터의 소개로 스코트랜드의 전통의상인 킬트를 차려입은 다섯남성들의 응원이 이어지는 순간 한 남성이 킬트를 말그대로 '훌러덩' 내렸다. 순식간에 일어난 이 방송사고는 3초가량 그대로 전국에 방송돼 많은 시청자들을 깜짝 놀라게 했다.

방송이 나간 후 공식적으로 50여건의 시청자 불만이 BBC에 접수됐고, 경찰이 사건을 조사하는 사태로 이어졌다.

웨일스 투데이 대변인은 "유감스럽게도 럭비 팬 한 사람이 그 순간 정신이 나갔었다’’고 밝혔다.

키스 데이비스는 조만간 경찰에 의해 처벌을 받을 것으로 알려졌다.
