President to Deliver New Year Message Today

President Lee Myung-bak, who marks his third year in office next month, will outline key administrative policies for 2010 in his New Year's address, scheduled for 10 a.m. today. The address is titled "A Bigger Korea."

In his nationally televised address, Lee is expected to appeal for support in preparing for the G20 Seoul Summit in November, according to Cheong Wa Dae officials.

The 20-minute speech will also touch on the administration's new economic policy initiatives for job creation and economic recovery, the officials said.

President Lee will also address the achievements the country has made over the past two years and announce his new vision to elevate the nation's international status, they said.
