Doctor’s Sexual Abuse

A Delaware pediatrician in United States may have sexually abused more than 100 of his young patients at his office, according to The Associated Press.

Dr. Earl Bradley (56) was arrested last week and being held in prison on $2.9 million bond. He has been charged with 33 felony counts relating to seven victims. Seven victims have been positively identified so far. They were girls ranging from 3 months old to 13 years.

Deputy Attorney General Alexis Slutsky told the news conference that videos, which show him molesting many dozens of victims over the last decade in the beach town of Lewes, were found in Bradley's office, home and rented storage unit.

"There's no way to even present the number of potential victims in this case. I'm comfortable saying well over 100," she said.

Six hand-held video cameras were found in his solo practice, called BayBees Pediatric. His office included Disney-themed exam rooms, a merry-go-round and a ferris wheel. There was also a basement toy room, where he took children for candy and treats then raped them.

A detective described the video as one of the most violent and brutal attacks. Police said they learned of the alleged abuse when a 2-year-old girl told her mother that the doctor had hurt her during a Dec. 7 appointment.

Slutsky said the investigation is focusing on cases between 1998 and the present.

그는 "피해자가 정확히 몇명인지 알 수 없지만, 적어도 100명은 넘을 것으로 보인다"고 말했다.

6개의 비디오 카메라가 그의 소아과 병원인 '베이비'에서 발견 되었다. 그의 진료실은 디즈니 테마로 꾸며져 있는데, 그는 회전목마 등 진기한 장난감들이 많은 지하에서 아이들에게 사탕과 간식을 주며 이들을 성폭행 해 언 것으로 전해졌다.

이 사건을 수사하고 있는 경찰은 성추행 장면을 찍어둔 비디오들이 잔인하고 격렬한 것으로 묘사했다. 브래들리는 12월 7일 2살 짜리 여자아이가 진료 후 엄마에게 의사가 자신을 괴롭힌다고 항의한 이후 덜미가 잡혔다.

한편, 슬러츠 부검사는 지난 1998년부터 체포되기 직전까지의 여죄를 집중 조사할 방침이다.
