Murder on CCTV

An estranged husband was jailed for life for the murder of his wife.

Husband, Thaker Ramanlal(48), has been sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing his wife Varsha Campaclal(44) to death at her workplace in London when she chose to be separate with him and start a new life, according to The Sun.

Ramanlal waited for her to appear at the rear of the store, confronted her and then cut her throat and stabbed her.

She had left her husband with her two daughters aged 21 and 12 in August 2008 because he had repeatedly bullied and abused her. In an earlier incident, police were called to the family home after Ramanlal chased his wife out of the property with a hammer. After six months she left him, on Feb. 13 Ramanlal went to her place of work with a knife and killed her.

Ramanlal claimed that he was not responsible for his actions but CCTV showed him leaving the store with a knife in his hand.

Police were called and she was found in a storeroom at the rear of a Peacocks clothes store.

아내와 소원해진 남편이 아내를 살해한 이유로 종신형에 처해졌다.

남편인 태커 라만날(48)은 아내 바샤 샴파크랄(43)이 새 인생을 살기 위해 자신을 떠난 뒤 영국 런던에 있는 상점에서 일하던 아내를 찾아가 살해해 종신형 판결을 받았다고 선지가 전했다.

라만날은 그녀가 상점 구석 쪽으로 오기를 기다린 후 목을 베고 칼로 찔렀다.

그녀는 21살과 12살인 두 딸을 데리고 2008년 8월경 남편의 잇단 폭력을 견디지 못해 가출을 감행했다. 이번 살인 사건 전에도 라만날이 부인을 망치로 집에서 쫒아내 경찰이 출동한 적도 있는 것으로 알려졌다. 라만날은 아내가 떠난 지 6개월 후인 2월 13일 그녀가 일하는 곳에 칼을 들고 찾아가 부인을 살해한 것이다.

라만날은 지금까지 범행 사실을 강력히 부인해 왔으나, CCTV카메라에 칼을 들고 아내의 상점을 떠나는 모습이 포착됐다.

한편 경찰이 출동 했을 때 그녀의 시신은 피콕 의류 상점 안쪽 창고 구석에서 발견됐다.
