Korea University Teams Up With Delhi U.

Korea University (KU), the most prestigious private university in the country, will work together with the University of Delhi on a variety of exchange programs. KU said Tuesday its president, Lee Ki-su, visited the Indian university and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for academic and student exchanges with his counterpart, Deepak Pental, Monday.

Under the agreement, the two higher education institutes will cooperate on a variety of programs including lecture exchanges, research and conferences as well as promoting cultural exchanges.

Established in 1922, the University of Delhi is one of the top schools in India. It has some 250,000 students and 30,000 faculty members and Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil serves as honorary president.
