Police Thursday took into custody three people on charges of uploading pirated copies of South Korean summer blockbuster "Haeundae" on the Internet.
An investigation began earlier this month following a request by the film's largest investor and distributor CJ Entertainment.
Police said the film was leaked in the process of a version for the disabled being produced.
The big-budget disaster flick about a tsunami that hits a popular beach in the Korean port city of Busan drew more than 10 million viewers, becoming the fifth South Korean movie to reach the milestone.
