The Hankook Ilbo and The Korea Times will host the Mr. World Korea 2009 Contest on Sept. 19 in Incheon to search for the most desirable Korean man.
The Korean winner of the contest will represent the country in the Mr. World competition next year. He will also receive 100 million won in prize money.
The runner-up winners will also be qualified to participate in other international competitions such as Mr. Intercontinental and Man Hunt International and advance into the entertainment business.
Candidates will compete in talent shows, contests in cooking and speaking, and various sports games, as well as participate in charity fashion shows. Young males are encouraged to apply for the contest.
