President Lee Myung-bak will likely hold a summit with U.S. President Barack Obama in Seoul in November, according to Cheong Wa Dae and the White House, Friday.

If realized, it will be Obama's first trip to South Korea since taking office in January. Lee and Obama have met twice, first in London in April on the sidelines of the G20 Summit and in Washington in June.

Lee will fly to Pittsburgh, Pa., in September to attend the G20 Summit, but it is not yet clear whether there will be another summit between the two leaders.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a daily news briefing on Thursday that Obama will attend the APEC forum scheduled for Nov. 14 in Singapore and may visit other unspecified countries in the region.
