Three South Korean defense firms are participating in the Paris Air Show, which opened Monday at the Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France.
They are Korea Aerospace Industries, the manufacturer of the T-50 Golden Eagle supersonic trainer; Hwanwha Corp., which produces spare parts for the F-16 fighter jet, KT-1 Woongbi turboprop basic trainer and the T-50; and Korea Lost-Wax, a local aircraft spare parts manufacturer, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said.
On display are advanced aircraft and weapons systems produced by approximately 2,000 defense manufacturers worldwide, the agency said in a press release.
Exhibits include aircraft spare parts as well as a T-50 simulator and mockup of the T-50 and KT-1, it said.
The event will continue until June 21.
