Former President Roh Moo-hyun will turn himself in to the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in Seoul today for questioning over the allegations of bribery surrounding his name.

He is expected to be indicted for accepting a bribe, although the former head of state denies this.

Roh, along with his lawyers and aides, is expected to depart from his home in Bongha, South Gyeongsang Province, as early as 7 a.m in order to reach Seoul, 400 kilometers away, for the 1:30 pm hearing.

It remains unconfirmed what kind of transportation he will use. If he travels by car, it could take at least four hours to arrive at the capital. In order to air his trip real-time and offer a blow-by-blow account of the day, major broadcasters are set to fly helicopters and chase his vehicle.

Police have asked him to use the KTX bullet train for security reasons.

After arriving at the building, the ex-President is scheduled to move to a VIP room on the building's 11th floor after a short break with the chief prosecutor in charge of the investigation. The prosecution has prepared nearly 300 questions that center around the $6 million his family allegedly received from Taekwang CEO Park Yeon-cha.

Given the number of questions, prosecutors expect the interrogation to continue until after midnight. If deemed necessary, Park will be called in for cross-questioning, prosecutors said.
