A 39-year-old North Korean defector and her son were found stabbed to death at home in Incheon, west of Seoul, police said Thursday.
Police found the bodies of the woman and her 10-year-old son after being told to check on them by an informant.
Police suspect her husband, a 44-year-old Korean-Chinese, who has been missing since Saturday, Yonhap News said. They got married in November 2007.
The three-member family allegedly came to South Korea in November 2006, after having stayed in a third country for a while.
Her son was born to her and her ex-husband, whose identity is unknown. The couple had been quarreling very often, police said quoting neighbors.
