Australian Foreign Minister to Visit Seoul
Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith will visit Seoul May 6-8 to discuss ``substantial ways'' of boosting bilateral ties, a government official said Friday.
Smith is scheduled to meet with senior South Korean officials including his counterpart Yu Myung-hwan, Foreign Ministry spokesman Moon Tae-young said.
The two foreign ministers will discuss ways of cooperating in the fields of diplomacy, security, trade, and culture, Moon said.
Yu and Smith will also discuss the North Korean nuclear issue, climate change, terrorism, and other matters of mutual concern, he said.
