Korea University Business School (KUBS) has introduced a ``selective dual degree MBA program’’ in cooperation with two other overseas schools. Students of the new MBA program can study at Fudan University in Shanghai, China; Korea University in Seoul; and the National University of Singapore for six months, each.

Taking the initial letter of the cities where the three universities are located, the program has been named ``S³Asia MBA,’’ and is scheduled to be launched this August. Students of the program are to choose two degrees from those offered by the three schools.

Korea University is the first local school to introduce dual degree programs involving three schools. The three universities started to discuss creating the program in a meeting, ``Tri-University Colloquium'' held at the school in 2006.

The three universities expect the program to maximize their strength; biotechnology of the Chinese university; the MBA at Korea; and finance in Singapore.

The three schools will recruit students from next month. Those eligible for the MBA program must have more than two years of work experience and a GMAT score over 600. According to the school, it has not decided the number of students for the program and tuition fees yet.
