The Ministry of National Defense said Friday that the government will send a delegation consisting of 30 members to Pyongyang next week for the second military chief talks with North Korea.
Defense Minister Kim Jang-soo is scheduled to lead the team.
The second round of talks is scheduled to take place between Nov. 27 and 29.
Kim and his northern counterpart Kim Il-chol are expected to discuss ways of reconciliation as per the agreement between South and North Korean leaders during the inter-Korean summit held in Oct. 2 and 4.
Sources said the two military chiefs will discuss the establishment of a joint fishing area and a broader peace belt around the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the West Sea.
