Shin Jeong-ah, assistant professor at Dongguk University, who has been revealed to have forged her school diplomas topped the nation's No. 1 search engine Naver's most searched word list.

Dongguk University said Saturday that it has requested its academic corporation to sack the 35-year-old assistant professor who forged all of her degrees _ bachelor's, master's and doctorate _ when she was recruited by the university. She was also recently chosen as art director of the Kwangju Biennale.

The ex-boyfriend of Solby, the female vocalist of the pop group ``Typhoon,'' took second place as she recently said in a talk show that her ex-boyfriend is a singer who made his debut before her. She didn't reveal his name but said that the relationship soured because of his huge rise in popularity, taking the spotlight off of her.

SBS' hit soap opera ``War of Money'' ranked third, showing that its audience still holds strong, even though the series ended more than a week ago. The drama was praised for the realistic portrayal into the lives of private moneylenders and power struggles among them. Its bonus track placed seventh on the list.

Actress Kim Se-ah took fourth place as she was caught drinking and driving on July 5. She told the police that she drank two glasses of wine in a bar in Shinsa-dong. Her driver's license was revoked for 100 days.

Hollywood's summer blockbuster ``Transformers'' came in fifth place. The newly released film in Seoul features robots that transform into a multitude of different machine appliances. The movie topped the weekend box office nationwide.

Five-member boy band ``TVXQ,'' who have been enjoying skyrocketing popularity since their debut, took sixth place.

``Expressway Jayooro's Ghost'' took eighth place as comedian Park Hee-jin recently said in a television talk show that she saw a ghost at the nation's major highway. Park said that she pulled over to offer help to a woman with long hair and large glasses at the side of the highway. However, the woman had two large holes on her face instead of eyes, which freaked her out. Park said she isn't the only one who has seen the woman ghost.

The term ``law school'' took ninth place due to a recent passage of an amended law school bill at the National Assembly. People's attention focused on which university will be the first to offer law classes.

``Super Junior Girls'' came in the 10th spot as the nation's major entertainment agency, SM Entertainment, announced that it would debut the female version of ``Super Junior,'' the 13-member popular boy band, in early August. It has been revealing the new group's members by releasing each member's teaser video footage one by one for each day from July 7.
