President Roh Moo-hyun will carry out a Cabinet shuffle later this month, which is expected to affect four or five ministerial officials, the Dong-a Ilbo newspaper reported Friday.

The presidential office, however, dismissed the report. ``At present, Cheong Wa Dae has no intention to carry out a Cabinet shuffle and is not considering it,'' presidential spokesman Cheon Ho-seon told reporters.

Yoon Jeung-hyun, chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission, and Chung Soung-jin, chairman of the presidential Korea Independent Commission Against Corruption, are certain to be replaced, according to the Dong-a Ilbo.

Kim Yong-deok, presidential secretary for economic affairs, and Kim Chang-rok, president of the Korea Development Bank, are among viable candidates to replace Yoon, it said.

Jeong Jin-gyu, former chief of the Legal Research and Training Institute, and Lee Jong-baek, former head of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, are referred to as candidates for the top post of the country's anti-corruption agency, according to the report.

Cabinet ministers likely to be replaced are Justice Minister Kim Sung-ho, Labor Minister Lee Sang-soo and Minister of Gender Equality and Family Jang Ha-jin, it said.
