Listen

The 13 South Koreans, who were killed in an aircraft crash in southern Cambodia on Monday, will be airlifted on a jumbo jet to Seoul Saturday morning with their bereaved family members.

Korean Air said Thursday that the airline has decided to switch a 149-seat B737-800 flight with a 296-seat jumbo jet, A330-300, on the route between Incheon and Phnom Penh to bring in the victims and bereaved family members simultaneously.

"We have decided to switch the regular flight with a larger one to transport both the corpses of the victims and their bereaved family members," said a Korean Air spokesman.

The passenger jet is scheduled to depart from the Incheon International Airport at 6:30 p.m. Friday and arrive in Phnom Penh at 10 p.m. that day. The jumbo jet will leave the international airport near Phnom Penh with the corpses of the victims, family members and Korean officials involved at 11:20 p.m. that day and return to the Incheon airport at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, the spokesman said.
