Kudos to the South Korean football team for winning its first match (2-0) against Greece comprehensively, and starting the World Cup on a high.
The skipper Park Ji-sung and Lee Jung-soo deserve special applause for finding the net. By drawing inspiration from the 2002 World Cup, played at home, where South Korea reached the semifinals, the current dispensation should continue the good work and hold aloft the torch of Asian football at the world's premier tournament.
On behalf of the Indians, I wish good luck for our Asian brothers ― South Korea.
