The Embassy has reported the tragedy to the Foreign Minister and MFA and coordinated closely with Korean authorities concerned. Our Consular Department has informed families of the two Thai victims. Our Embassy has also worked closely with Jeju Airlines officials who reassured us the they would be responsible for the related costs of damages of the victims.
Today the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul and Team Thailand offices have lowered the flag for seven days in mourning for the victims. We will continue to work with all local authorities and provide assistance to victims and their families.
Thai Buddhist temples throughout the ROk will arrange prayers for the victims and their families over the next several days to be co-hosted by myself.

Following the deadly airplane crash that occurred on December 29th at Muan International Airport, causing the disastrous loss of 179 lives, with deep sadness in this moment of grief, sorrow and national mourning, as Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Korea, standing in solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy, and wishing prompt recovery to those rescued.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan immediately conveyed its condolences to Representative Lee Eun-ho of the Korean Mission in Taipei through Lan Shari, Director-General of the Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs." The Representative of the Taipei Mission in Korea, Liang Guangzhong, also conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Taiwanese government and people to the Korean government.
