A famous Korean
and
has flaunted his recent purchase of a Porsche ― possibly the German brand's first all-electric Taycan model.
Using his online nickname Monsrat, Chang Ji-hwan, 26, posted on
on Feb. 1 a photo of himself seated behind the wheel with the vehicle's brand logo clearly visible on the steering wheel. The photo caption read, “I took a little spin and what the hell, I bought it.”
Another photo from the post shows a white envelope with the brand logo on the top left ― presumably containing the legal paperwork.

Visitors who saw the photos from Chang's Instagram said, based on the envelope provided by the brand's dealer shop in Seoul's Yongsan District as indicated and appearance of the car's dashboard, the car might be a Taycan.
About 20,000 Taycans were distributed worldwide in 2020 when it debuted in showrooms ― 7.4 percent of the entire Porsche volume. The 2021 Taycan price starts from $110,000 as of Thursday.
Based in Daejeon, Chang uses the online network game “League of Legend” as his major source of streaming and online videos. He has over 800,000 YouTube subscribers and 550,000 Twitch followers. According to online real-time YouTube ranking site NoxInfluencer, Chang's monthly income is estimated at over 71 million won ($63,000) a month. With money from Twitch, his monthly revenue could be over 100 million won.
His wealth also stems from successful online clothing sales. The 34th production batch of the “Monsrat Hood” sold out, as did the 30th batch of “Monsrat Sportswear,” with the price tag of each piece of apparel ranging from 56,000 won to 99,000 won.
