Korea CQ Forum holds special lecture for opinion leaders

The Korea CQ Forum of the Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI) invited about fifty of foreign and local opinion leaders for a special lecture by architect Seung H-Sang, at the National Hangeul Museum, Tuesday night.

Among the attendees were foreign ambassadors to Korea including Singaporean Ambassador Yip Wei Kiat, Hungarian Ambassador Mozes Csoma, Kuwaiti Ambassador Bader Mohammad al-Awadi, Latvian Ambassador Peteris Vaivars and Azerbaijani Ambassador Ramzi Kazim oglu Teymurov.

Seung is the chief commissioner at the Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy and served as Seoul's first city architect from 2014 to 2016.

During the special lecture, Seung gave a review on the architectural history of Korea, comparing it to that of European countries.

Before the lecture by Seung, the group was given a guided-tour of the museum's permanent exhibition titled “The Creation of Hangeul,” which shows the origin and principle of Hangeul.
