Nail polish subscription box Nailbox is paying up to 60 million won ($54,000) a year for people to test nail polish.

Nailbox is a London-based online monthly subscription service from which people can buy a box of several selected nail care products.

Workers will try, test and review 50 polishes and accessories every month, and report which one works and which ones do not. The workers will also photograph each trial and contribute themed ideas for the monthly boxes.

Products include top coats, base coats, treatments, the latest nail polishes, nail files and foils.

All testers will receive lots of freebies, but will have to avoid nail-wrecking tasks, such as washing dishes, which wear out color.

Nailbox's managing director expects testers to "take good care of their appearance," the Daily Mail reports.

“We need someone with genuine enthusiasm for beauty products, but who also has a critical eye and is able to distinguish the better products and colors,” the managing director said.

“They need to have a good idea of what’s currently fashionable as well, and potentially be a trendsetter within their own social groups.

“It is a work-from-home role, but we’ll be sending over a lot of products and will expect all of them to be reviewed, so this will be hard work.”

Nailbox costs about 26,000 won a month with free delivery.

Korean beauty subscription service Memebox was launched in 2013 offering a box of skincare goods and other beauty-related products.
