YEONGJONG ISLAND, Incheon — Inspire Entertainment Resort on Incheon’s Yeongjong Island has emerged as one of Korea’s most talked-about hotel destinations for a winter vacation, drawing domestic and international visitors to an all-indoor Christmas playground branded as a “Winter Wonderland.”
The integrated resort’s layout — linking hotels, media art, arena shows, shopping and dining under one roof — means a single overnight stay can feel too short, as seasonal programs, photo zones and parties spill seamlessly from morning through late night.
The heart of this year’s program is the Rotunda, a vast circular hall at the resort’s center that has been transformed into the Winter Wonderland Gift Factory, a large-scale Christmas installation built around animatronic bears busily preparing presents. Six themed zones, from a gift registry reception to baking, toy-making and gift-wrapping stations, create a narrative journey as finished presents glide along conveyor belts before departing for Santa Village.

Nearby, the 150-meter digital entertainment street Aurora immerses visitors in media art sequences themed around Santa Village and the northern lights, with sleighs and Santa flying overhead across mega LED screens and train sounds turning a simple passageway into a winter spectacle.
Next to the Rotunda, Le Space offers a contrasting, contemplative stop in an otherwise kinetic circuit through the resort. The approximately 6,611-square-meter art exhibition hall connects 18 rooms themed around galaxies and planets, using interactive technology and kinetic art.
Across the property, gift box-shaped photo spots, a towering Christmas tree and coordinated decorations extend the Winter Wonderland mood, turning casual strolls into self-guided photo walks.

Inspire describes itself as Korea’s first full-scale "playcation" resort, where accommodations, a 15,000-seat arena, indoor water park, media art, family entertainment, around 40 dining and cafe options, shopping and wellness facilities are woven into a single, weatherproof experience.
Lee Han-na, senior vice president of resort sales and marketing at Inspire, said during a press briefing at the resort on Dec. 4 that the property is evolving into a global playcation destination that goes beyond Korea, China and Japan, calling it "Korea’s first integrated resort where guests can experience a wide range of enjoyment and premium services in a single space."
She then summed up its core identity as a resort "where you can play while taking a true holiday."
The property appeals strongly to foreign visitors, with hotel guests currently split roughly 50-50 between domestic and international travelers, with similar shares among Japanese and Chinese guests alongside growing numbers from Southeast Asia, Lee explained.

Since its soft opening in December 2023, Inspire has welcomed some 9 million visitors, including around 920,000 arena spectators drawn by musical acts such as Twice, NCT Doyoung, JJ Lin and Yoasobi, with overseas audiences accounting for roughly 60 percent of arena visitors in 2024.
To celebrate Christmas festivities, from Dec. 20 to 25 the resort will layer participatory events on top of its visual staging, including a daily nutcracker doll parade that winds through the property at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Families can meet Santa at a dedicated photo zone inside the shopping mall area, while a mini carol concert at Aurora Bar featuring artists from Cheongdam Get All Right adds live music to the festive mix.
Limited-time promotions target both families and couples. A Christmas cake collection includes a tree-shaped signature cake adorned with red, purple and gold chocolate ornaments, while Michael Jordan’s Steak House is offering a Winter Wonderland Romantic Package that pairs a dinner course with a flower bouquet.

As the calendar turns, Inspire is adding year-end and New Year’s Eve festivities to its winter campaign. On Dec. 31, Aurora Bar will stage the "Cheers to 2026: Drop the Beat & Balloons" countdown event, starting with a live concert and culminating in a midnight balloon drop, when thousands of balloons will cascade from the ceiling amid a large-screen LED countdown and a lucky draw for prizes such as accommodation vouchers.
At the same time, Le Space will morph into a New Year’s party venue for the "2026 New Year Midnight Party," featuring performances by Dayoung, Bang Yedam, Moon Sujin and Junhee from boy group A.C.E, followed by DJ sets from Reverse Prime and Luna Kim.
On Dec. 20, the "Tropical Fever in Splash Bay" indoor pool party will bring a summer-in-winter feel under a glass dome that mimics a galaxy-filled sky, with top DJs, performance teams, neon gate painting, and tunnel and bubble zones fueling the late-night atmosphere.
With WeChat Mini Program support for Chinese guests, a foreigners-only casino, a new strategic partnership with Hilton Honors and a growing portfolio of medical and wellness services, Inspire is positioning its Winter Wonderland event as just one chapter in a broader bid to become a year-round global tourism hub anchored in Incheon.
