JW Marriott Hotel Seoul is offering “Bali in the City,” a summer package featuring a surprise transformation into Bali, one of Korean tourists' favorite holiday destinations.

The package was designed for guests who are unable to go on vacation abroad this year due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

The seasonal package, which is available from July 1 to Aug. 31, includes accommodation in a hotel room decorated to evoke a Balinese mood, in addition to welcome amenities of popular Indonesian snack, two cans of Balinese beer and a gift of two natural soaps by neBali Soap that feature natural ingredients sourced from local fruit, flowers and plants.

Guests choosing suite accommodation are offered a sarong and bandana set made by leading Korean batik brand Halobali using unique Indonesian batik techniques and materials. Other items to be offered include one bottle of Baliflora perfume by Italian niche brand Laboratorio Olfattivo, featuring iconic Indonesian flower Frangipani.

From July 15 to Aug. 15, the second-floor buffet restaurant Flavors will serve a “Taste of Paradise” menu, featuring classic dishes from the Indonesian region, including nasi goreng and ayam blora and conjuring the ambience of a local Balinese resort dining experience.

During the promotion, guests with children will be offered a coloring set with crayons and paper, featuring a map of Indonesia and images of local animals to help children learn more about the Southeast Asian country while having fun.

The swimming pool in the hotel's fitness center will feature a photo wall with a huge print of St. Regis Bali hotel and near-life-sized model animals to evoke a feeling of Indonesia.

This promotion is JW Marriott Hotel Seoul's second overseas transformation package.

Last year, the hotel reinvented itself in the spirit of Thailand's JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa for a two-month period from October with the “Enjoy Khao Lak in Seoul” package, which received a sensational response.
