Park Hyatt Seoul presents 'The Taste' dinner set

The Lounge on the 24th floor of the Park Hyatt Seoul is presenting “The Taste ― Boyangsik Dinner Set,” inspired by Korea's tradition of rejuvenating the body through special dishes in summer.
Available until Sept. 6, the five-course dinner set is a celebration of seasonal abundance crafted from nourishing ingredients including Korean-grown deodeok root, chicken and abalone.
The dinner set menu commences with a unique interpretation of summer dish Chogyetang (chicken in a cold broth with vinegar and mustard), made with chicken and ginseng.
The chicken, marinated in soy sauce with star anise and other spices before being paired with ginseng, strikes a uniquely refreshing flavor balance with the cool mustard broth.
Deodeok root tempura and vinegar chili paste is served with tenderly chewy conch skewers as an invigorating summer appetizer.
The main course brings a choice of grilled beef rib with garlic soy sauce, followed by a soup of abalone, squid and other seafood with vegetables in a bean paste-based broth, accompanied by seasonal side dishes and multigrain rice.
A further culinary highlight is the unique dessert course, a creative reinterpretation of traditional snacks that brings together sweet red bean jelly, mugwort mousse and soybean flour crumble.
The dinner set is priced at 100,000 won ($83) per person. For a supplementary price of 40,000 won per person, dinner is served with two glasses of different selected wines and one glass of Gangjang Baekseju, Korean traditional liquor crafted from some 10 medicinal herbs and ingredients.
