Divers invited to explore the Marianas' waters

Diving is a way to encounter the natural world, where people can directly feel the tranquility and unique wonders of the sea.

Saipan, Tinian and Rota of the Mariana Islands are famous for their incredible diving spots that are often visited by professional divers.

For people who are itching to travel again as soon as they can move around without anxiety over COVID-19 infections, the Marianas Visitors Authority Korea introduced the four best diving spots to inspire people to visit after the public health crisis comes to an end.

Saipan Oban Beach

Oban Beach is the best beach diving point in Saipan.

It is the ideal place for snorkeling as travelers can experience unbelievable sea water with sea eels, sea turtles and colorful coral.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Saipan has the world's most equable temperature, averaging 27 degrees Celsius year-round, allowing travelers to enjoy the mild tropical climate any time of year.

The even the temperature and the fresh sea breeze makes diving trips more comfortable.

Most of the diving points are close to the island. People can enjoy the unique terrain as well as various colorful underwater sights of beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish.

Korean travelers can also take diving lessons in Korean, making it easy for beginners to dive into the beautiful underwater world of the Marianas.

Saipan Grotto

Grotto, one of the best underwater caves for diving, is cited as one of the world's top 10 diving points.

The grotto is beautiful as it is, and people can see the most beautiful views from outside surrounded by rocks and the sunlight at noon.

But they can experience the real grotto from beneath the waves.

Once they enter the limestone entrance, divers will realize they are in an underwater cave of enormous scale.

Rota Hole

Rota Hole, which has been called the “diver's dream” among divers around the world, is the most famous diving spot in Rota located in the southern part of Saipan.

Along the way in Senhanon Cave, people will see various beautiful and magnificent views and unbelievably beautiful and mysterious beams of light filtering through the depths.

You can access the cave by swimming down 12 meters under the water, and the upper part is the most beautiful to appreciate.

Tinian Fleming Point

Famous diving points in Tinian are mostly located along the west coast, and Fleming Point is one of them. People can see the beautiful underwater cliff.

It is also famous for boat diving and Tinian Grotto.
