The InterContinental Seoul COEX is showcasing a “Frozen Summer Package” through August to offer “3B” elements for an ideal summer hotel staycation at the reasonable price of just under 200,000 won ($167).

The 3Bs refers to bed, breakfast and bingsu (shaved ice dessert).

In particular, premium bingsu served in the lobby lounge, a perfect spot for taking memorable photos to celebrate summer, comes with three options that guests can choose from during their stay ― mango bingsu that is packed with fresh mango sherbet and juicy mango pulp; honey grain bingsu that contains black bean ice cream, black rice popcorn and other healthy grains; and classic bingsu which features green tea ice cream to offer an extra-intense flavor.

Guests also have complimentary access to the pleasant 25-meter-long indoor swimming pool, complete with natural lighting and the rich green scenery offered by Bongeun Temple.

In addition, a 20 percent discount is provided at restaurants including Asian Live, Sky Lounge, and Brasserie (breakfast exclusive) to enable guests to relish their meals in privacy during their stay.

The package is available until Aug. 31, and rates are from 182,000 won for a superior room.

Guests can also receive an extra incentive by presenting the “50,000 won saving coupon for a room” offered as part of an exclusive package purchased from GS Home Shopping, May 24.

Moreover, guests can opt for the “Half-Day Special,” which allows guests to use rooms, swimming pools and more during the weekday until the end of June.

This option enables guests to stay in a cool and comfortable room for up to 12 hours from 8 a.m., with complimentary access to the hotel's fitness club, swimming pools and more.

Guests can also enjoy a breakfast buffet for an additional fee of 30,250 won per person. All these benefits cost 88,000 won.

InterContinental Seoul COEX currently enforces special disinfection measures in all areas of the hotel, including rooms and restaurants through a specialized disinfection company.

During room maintenance, separate equipment is utilized to meticulously sterilize handles, remote controls, telephones, coffee makers and lamp buttons.
