Glad launches summer package

Glad Hotel & Resort has come up with its Summer Beauty Vacance package that will be available until Aug. 31 at its five properties in Seoul and on Jeju Island.

As its name suggests, it features beauty items such as two lip tints and a DIY nail kit along with one night of accommodation with comfortable bedding.

In addition, two tickets to D Museum in Hannam-dong will be offered. Currently, the 'I Draw' exhibition is being held, featuring 350 art pieces, including drawings and illustrations by 16 artists.

In particular, the Maison Glad Jeju provides breakfast a buffet for two at Samdajeong, a locally famous buffet, and complimentary macaroons and coffee at Artisee.

Sheraton D Cube offers summer seasonal menu

Feast, the Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel's buffet restaurant, presents invigorating, authentic Korean food for guests wanting to ward off summer heat and stay healthy.

Its seasonal menu includes traditional healthy foods such as chicken soup with ginseng and eel soup as well as cold raw fish soup and chilled jellyfish salad.

Chicken soup with ginseng, eel soup and chilled chicken noodle soup are available at the dinner buffet, while the cold raw fish soup is also prepared for the lunch buffet.

The seasonal menu will be served until the end of August.

Grand InterContinental Parnas offers 'Newtro' summer package

The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, will showcase its summer package of “Back to the 80s-Newtro Concept” from June 21 to Aug. 31.

The package includes a “Newtro” concept whole chicken that is deep-fried, two glasses of beer and a breakfast buffet at Grand Kitchen. The Newtro Experience Zone will also offer visitors various types of retro content.

Package promotion guests can use the hotel swimming pool and gym free of charge.

Conrad to reopen rooftop bar

The Conrad Seoul will reopen its refurbished rooftop bar Vertigo, June 25.

The bar debuted in 2017 and emerged as one of the hottest places on Yeouido. It will return as an all-year-round facility featuring an indoor bar as well as an outdoor one.

The new Vertigo will serve lunch and dinner provided by its chefs along with a variety of alcoholic beverages.

“Vertigo will be reborn as a place to offer relaxation in the urban area of Yeouido that is called the Manhattan of Seoul,” a Conrad official said.
