Millennium Hilton offers Children's Day buffet

In celebration of Children's Day, Cafe 395 at the Millennium Seoul Hilton will host a special buffet.

Along with its bountiful buffet offerings, there will be several additional stalls offering children's favourite foods for the one-day event that will be available on May 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The additional stalls will feature French hot dogs, sausage and rice cake skewers, beef and chicken mini burgers, spaghetti and more.

In addition, there will also be several child-friendly activities including a balloon show, face painting, and a photo station where children can take pictures with the hotel's mascot, Milton.

Park Hyatt Seoul unveils Jazz afternoon tea set

The Lounge, located on the 24th floor of the Park Hyatt Seoul, is offering an afternoon tea set, accompanied by a jazz performance, on a daily basis.

During afternoon tea, available from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. until May 26, visitors can enjoy jazz music of artists who will participate in the Seoul Jazz Festival on May 26 including Wynton Marsalis, Omara Portuondo, Brad Mehldau and John Scofield.

The tea menu is comprised of various premium green teas such as sejak, jukro, jaeksal and others, while its savory items include open baguette sandwiches, roasted eggplant and tomatoes and ham-and-cheese sandwiches. A variety of dessert items will also be available.

Ticket holders for the jazz festival can get a free sparkling wine.

Courtyard Seoul Times Square offers rooftop BBQ

The Courtyard Marriott Seoul Times Square Hotel presents its Urban BBQ-Newtro in Rooftop promotion.

The annual event, launched in 2016, will run every Saturday until Oct. 12 and feature old-fashioned fried chicken, barbecue and a semi-buffet.

With the chicken being served for every table, the barbecue grill station will cook beef, sausage, octopus and king prawns. At the salad station, fresh vegetables, various cheeses and smoked salmon will be served.

Guests can also enjoy Red Rock draft beer and a selection four wines.

Paradise City sponsors Brazilian golfer

Paradise City, an “art-tainment” resort, will sponsor Luiza Altmann, a Brazilian who now plays on the Korea LPGA Tour, for a year.

As an amateur, she played for the Brazilian national team and also played on the U.S. second-tier Symetra Tour before joining the Korean women's tour.

The press release quoted Altmann expressing her gratitude for Paradise City's support.

The property has gained a presence in local golf circles, as evidenced by its partnership with the LPGA to become the official hotel for the UL International Crown and the KEB Hana Bank Championship last year.
