Conrad Seoul presents K-pop concert package

The Conrad Seoul is offering a concert package featuring Seungri, a member of K-pop group Big Bang.

The package includes a one-night stay in a room with spectacular views of the Han River and the city, and a buffet breakfast at Zest along with a ticket to a Seungri concert on Feb. 16. Colorful Big Bang light sticks are also presented. The deal is divided into two options: a solo package for one person and a duet package for two.

Reservations will be available until Feb. 14 and guests can choose a check-in date that will be available until Feb. 15.

Yeouido Marriott launches holiday special menu

The Seoul Marriott Executive Apartments is ready to offer special menus at its Park Cafe on the occasion of the Lunar New Year from Feb. 1 to 15.

The lunch set menu includes chef's recommendation soup or strawberry garden salad, Marriott burger, and club sandwich or grilled Australian rib-eye steak, while the dinner menu features pink berry panna cotta and strawberry tiramisu along with all items of the former.

Additionally, Park Cafe will present the Lunar New Year special brunch buffet from Feb. 2 to 6. Visitors can enjoy a sumptuous meal while enjoying all the traditional Lunar New Year delicacies with Asian cuisines such as tteokgalbi, LA galbi, assorted traditional Korean pancakes, double cooked pork slices, rice noodles and paella.

Paradise City spa voted as must-visit destination

Cimer, a spa at integrated resort complex Paradise City in Incheon, has been picked as a must-visit place in February by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

The facility, dubbed as the K-style destination spa, combines European-style spas with Korean-style sauna “jjimjilbang.” The 13,000-square-meter indoor and outdoor amenities can accommodate up to 2,000 people at once.

To celebrate the feat, Paradise City will launch a two-month promotion giving discounts of up to 50 percent, starting February.

InterContinental Seoul Parnas has new pastry chef

The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas has brought Eric Kalaboke from New York as its new pastry chef.

Kalaboke is a seasoned bakery chef with over 15 years of experience, having started his career at Ritz-Carlton Naples. He has worked at several luxury hotels, including the St. Regis New York, and prior to this appointment, he was the executive pastry chef at the Public Hotel in Manhattan.

He also worked in highly renowned restaurants such as Alain Ducasse and Jean Marie Auboine.
