Maison Glad Jeju unveils summer package

Maison Glad Jeju will offer the “Glad Summer Fest” package next month.

The promotion, available until Sept. 2, features a breakfast buffet at Samdajeong, a locally famous buffet, and a free mango bingsu at cafe-bakery chain Artisee for one-night guests. Bingsu is a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings including red beans, fruits and sweetened condensed milk.

Rates for a couple package start at 199,000 won ($185) and those for a three-member family are available from 220,000 won.

In celebration of the package, those who stay between June 1 and 19 can get a 20,000 won discount on their room.

The package also features a free gift of a boomerang-shaped water tube.

WE Hotel earns five-star rating

The WE Hotel Jeju has earned five stars -- an achievement signifying it as a top-notch world-class hotel.

All ratings by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization are earned through a 700-point on-site inspection and a 300-point anonymous one. Inspectors judge hotels and other accommodations according to established criteria and guidelines.

If a hotel scores more than 900 points, it is awarded five stars.

To celebrate the achievement, the first five guests of each day who book their stay through its website will receive “special” discounts on their rooms.

The hotel, located in Seogwipo on Jeju Island's south coast, is known for its high-quality services using the island's mineral-rich natural water and an unrivaled wellness program offering wood therapy and water therapy as well as various activities.

Conrad Seoul offers 'Premium Room Sale'

Early bird customers can get a promotion from the Conrad Seoul that gives them a 25 percent discount on the lowest-priced available premium room of each day.

Plus, those who book the premium room in advance can be awarded hotel credit worth 50,000 won ($46) that can be used at any restaurants, bars or cafes of the hotel. Children under 12 also receive a free breakfast.

The special reservation period that began May 15 will be open until 2 p.m. May 31 and the accommodation period will remain available up to Aug. 31.

Sheraton D Cube launches musical packages

The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is offering two types of musical packages to celebrate the return of the Broadway musical “Chicago.”

The all-time killer-hit musical premiered Tuesday, and it will run until Aug. 8 at the D-Cube Arts Center which is connected to the seventh floor of the hotel.

Collaborating with the musical, the hotel offers the Musical Chicago Room and buffet packages.

The former includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room and two one-night stays in the spacious deluxe room, and the latter allows guests to enjoy the musical along with a sumptuous meal at the Feast buffet on the 41st floor.

The room package is available from 396,000 won ($367) and the buffet package starts from 171,000 won.
