Park Hyatt Busan provides 'flavors of summer'

The Park Hyatt Busan's Lounge holds a promotion featuring a variety of juices for the upcoming summer season.

Under the title “Flavors of Summer,” the hotel provides guests with a wide variety of choices and offers a refreshing respite from the hot weather.

The hotel, located in Haeundae, presents “Green Grape Juice,” a healthy summer special juice for people of all ages as it has abundant ground-up green grapes. Also, blue-colored “Aqua Lemon Fizz,” which is reminiscent of the sea, captures women's hearts. Based on lemon juice, tonic water, lemon sorbet, lime and rosemary are added to give a cool and fresh taste and to allow guests to imbibe the rich lemon flavor.

Yellow “Mango Yogurt,” which is good for a simple meal, is filled with mashed mango and sweet fresh mango based on plain yogurt and with refreshing mint.

The Lounge, located on the 30th floor of the hotel, is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to midnight. The “Flavors of Summer” promotion is available until June 30 and prices start at 17,500 won ($16).

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City features 'Sweet Summer Delight'

The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel's Lobby Lounge Bar, located on the 41st floor, presents an all-you-can-eat dessert buffet, “Sweet Summer Delight,” for the upcoming summer season starting from May 12 until Aug. 26.

Amid rapidly growing demand for desserts, the hotel's Lobby Lounge Bar introduces the unlimited summer dessert buffet that combines fresh summer fruits with unique and aesthetic sweet desserts.

Visitors can enjoy a combination of 12 different kinds of sweet desserts, made with fresh summer fruits, a selection of delicious and fulfilling snacks including pizza, tteokbokki, crepes and tropical fruit ice cream at the live station.

A separate punch and beer station can be used by paying an additional 5,000 won ($4.6) per person. The promotion is available during weekends and holidays at 33,000 won per adult.

Shinhwa World returns with free car rental service

Jeju Shinhwa World is bringing back its car rental promotion that received rave reviews earlier this year, but this time with expanded options.

Those who book their stay at the Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World and the Shinhwa World Landing Resort between May 3 and July 14 can get a free rental among four French-made cars for 24 hours per stay. Insurance for the car rental is not included.

The cars for the promotion are the Peugeot 3008 SUV and 508 and the Citroen C4 Cactus and Grand Picasso.

To take advantage of the promotion, guests are required to sign up for the Shinhwa Reward Membership in advance at

. Reservation needs to be made three days ahead of the stay for a smooth process.

Other requirements are that guests of Korean nationality must be at least 21 years old and foreign guests must be at least 26 years old and they must hold a valid driver's license issued by the Korea Road Traffic Authority with minimum one year of driving experience or a valid international driver's license with minimum one year of driving experience.

Millennium Seoul Hilton offers two buffets

The Millennium Seoul Hilton's traditional English-style bar, Oak Room, offers two happy hour buffet services.

The Oak Room Happy Hour Buffet that started Tuesday will be offered Saturday to Wednesday. The menu includes pork crisps with wasabi and garlic mayo, smoked chicken wrap sandwiches, creamy chicken triangle sandwiches, pizza and beef meatballs with tomato sauce.

The Happy Hour BBQ Buffet that started Thursday is available Thursday through Friday. The buffet serves various BBQ dishes range from BBQ skewers to chicken, beef and lamb skewers to minced kebabs and beef mini sliders.

Both services that open from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. offer unlimited Heineken draft beer and wine.

The Happy Hour buffets are priced at 49,000 won ($45) per person with tax and service charge included.

Grand Hyatt Seoul opens ‘Poolside Barbeque’

The Grand Hyatt Seoul hotel is running its Poolside Barbeque, an outdoor buffet restaurant, from May to September.

Featuring a night view of Seoul and the emerald-colored outdoor pool, the buffet service has an appetizer station with fresh salad, grilled vegetables, fried rice and soup as well as a main station that has a variety of grilled dishes and a dessert station with fruits in season, ice cream, cakes and cookies.

The Poolside Barbeque, which has been operated for over 20 years, is a favorite place to go for dates, family gatherings and business dinners.

The barbeque is open every day from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., but will be closed if it rains. The restaurant pushes the operation hours back by 30 minutes in July and August, or 7 p.m. through 10 p.m.
