Caribbean Bay’s signature summer event, Mega Wave Festival, has begun and will take place until Aug. 20.

Visitors can enjoy pool with waves of up 2.4 meters, while listening to music played by DJs on a special outdoor stage at the nation’s first water park, next to the Everland theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.

Until this weekend, such famous club DJs as Queenzell, Allzwell and Primate will play music beside dancers on the stage.

The champions of the Flyboard World Cup will also perform hydroflying in the wave pool three times a day every weekend. Visitors will be amazed at the acrobatics of the performers who will be decorated with LED lights at night.

In addition to Mega Wave Festival, Caribbean Bay is hosting its first barbecue and beer party, running until Aug. 15. The poolside party will offer a menu of six barbeque options and ice-cold beer.

Various barbecue options, including pork rib skewers, smoked turkey, shrimp and squid skewers, will be grilled on the spot.

Everland chefs designed the menu for the summer party, according to Caribbean Bay. The chefs use Mediterranean ingredients such as grapefruit, red onion and paprika for depth of flavor.

Visitors can drink premium-quality European beers, such as Carlsberg and Erdinger, as well as Somersby Apple Cider, all of which go well with barbeque.

Those who purchase tickets until Aug. 27 via “smart reservation” on the Everland website will be submitted into a lucky draw for flight and hotel vouchers for Cancun, a Samsung Galaxy S8, a Galaxy Tab A6, character goods and discount coupons for Caribbean Bay.

Also, those who buy tickets by Aug. 20 at the normal price or with associated cards can enter Everland for starting at from 5 p.m. on the day of their visit to Caribbean Bay.
