W Seoul-Walkerhill is offering a farewell package to its guests. The hotel recently decided to leave the Marriott family beginning in January, and SK Network, an owner company, will operate the hotel on its own. The hotel, which opened in 2004, will undergo a renovation between January and March before opening with a new name.

Park Hyatt Busan’s Lounge presents sweet and mild danpatjuk and tarakjuk, beloved traditional porridges in the cold season. Both porridges are made of nutritious grains that help the body keep warm. Danpatjuk is sweet red bean porridge with rice balls handmade by Park Hyatt Busan chefs, as well as a variety of nuts, marinated jujube, chestnuts and persimmon. Park Hyatt Seoul’s the Timber House offers year-end party packages.

The “Evening Chill-out” promotion, fit for 10 people, includes a premium Japanese main course with free-flowing beverages (sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, sake, draft beer and cocktails) between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The package starts at 59,000 won per person, including tax.

The “Bonenkai” package fits a group of 10 to 50 people with six family-style set menus and free flowing beverages. It costs 70,000 won per person. For more than 50 people, the Timber House offers a buffet station and free-flowing beverages, which costs 90,000 won per person.
