Luxury hotels in Seoul are making more efforts to better accommodate child guests.

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill will open its first playground, Walkerhill Kids Club, for family guests. The playground, located in the lower lobby of the hotel, is divided into five zones.

They are: Fun Zone, where children can play fun games; Cafe Zone, where the parents and children can have snacks and beverages; Library Zone, where children can have various educational experiences by playing with premium teaching materials by Froebel, a leading early childhood education and care company; Event Zone, where children can have birthday parties; and Convenient Zone, where mothers can nurse their babies.

Cafe Zone serves a selection of healthy baby foods supplied by renowned premium homemade baby food company, Yummi Meal, along with organic cold beverages, coffees and teas.

At Event Zone, the hotel’s head chefs will also take care of catering to improve guests overall satisfaction levels.

Kids Pool is another of the hotel’s amenities for young guests.

The 0.4-meter-deep, 10-meter-long indoor pool is perfect for the city’s young swimmers.

The hotel also has a family locker room.

The Kids Pool is near the hotel’s outdoor pool, the largest in the city for adults.

The outdoor pool features 300 sunbeds, a buffet menu with 70 dishes and beverages and other amenities.

The pools are available only for hotel guests, except when the hotel throws pool parties during the summer time.
