Jeju hotels offer autumn pool packages

Feel like watching a movie while in the water?
If so, The Shilla Jeju’s “Floating Cinema” event, which runs from Oct. 17 till Nov. 30, just might be your thing.
At the event, the hotel will warm the pool water and provide guests with a floating pillow and a warm sunbed on which they can lie down while watching a movie.
Two carefully selected movies will be screened each night from 6 p.m. to midnight on a 5.4-meter-wide and 3-meter-high LCD TV screen.
Some of the films that will be shown in October are “Begin Again,” a 2013 American musical comedy drama directed by John Carney, and “Sunshine on Leith,” a 2013 British musical film directed by Dexter Fletcher. The hotel said it also welcomes recommendations from guests.
Guests can enjoy the hotel’s floating cinema by booking a “Floating Cinema” package, which includes a one-night stay in a standard room, breakfast for two and a free floating pillow and snack during the movie. Kensington Jeju Hotel has also opened its warmed-up outdoor pools to more guests. The hotel said its two main outdoor pools ― the rooftop pool Skyfinity and garden pool Oceanfinity ― are open to guests who still want to enjoy swimming in autumn.
Skyfinity is famous for its panoramic views of the tourist island. The 25-meter-long pool has a Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna cabin and in-water sunbeds. One-on-one swimming lessons are also provided at the pool. Adjacent to the rooftop pool is Club House, which offers cocktail and wine and music played by an in-house DJ.
Guests can enjoy the hotel’s warm swimming pools by booking the “Luxury All Inclusive” package, which also includes a one-night stay, breakfast and lunch for two, access to the poolside bar and participation in a Green Tea Farm Tour or in Jeju Gotjawal Tracking.
