Philippine-based Bloomberry Resorts Corp. (BRC) has reopened its casino on Jeju Island in Korea on Sept. 15.

The newly renovated Jeju Sun Casino, a part of Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino, has been equipped with state-of-the-art table games and electronic gaming equipment, which are open only to foreign guests.

Under new management, the Jeju Sun Casino offers professional dealers, a new Players Club rewards system and diverse opportunities for travelers to Jeju.

“We are very excited to reintroduce Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino, starting out with the reopening of this world-class casino after only less than four months,” Enrique K. Razon Jr., Bloomberry chairman and chief executive officer, said.

“This is our first operating overseas property, and we exerted much effort to put in place the ambiance and amenities that would enrich the gaming experience,” he said.

Reopening the casino is the first part of its multistage refurbishment plan, which began in May. The second part, which is expected to be completed by December 2015, involves renovating the main lobby and the dining areas at the casino.

The Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino also offers entertainment and premium gaming facilities featuring some of the most popular games, like baccarat, roulette, Sic Bo, blackjack and Korea’s premier selection of the latest electronic games and slot machines.

The Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino, which is home to Jeju’s newest casino, is located five minutes away from the Jeju International Airport. The casino resort has 203 well-appointed rooms and suites, 2,125 square meters of gaming space, dining options that feature fresh local produce and international cuisine, a bar and lounge and other hotel facilities with world-class amenities. The hotel has ample event space to celebrate all occasions.
