Oakwood Premier in Seoul reborn after 11 years

Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul completed its renovation earlier this month. The new interiors and upgraded facilities have put the country’s first international service residence brand in the minds of local and foreign business travelers.

All 280 of the serviced apartments, which opened 11 years ago, were renovated.

“As one of the leaders in the serviced residence market, Oakwood is constantly looking at ways to improve its offerings and enhance its residents’ experience,” said Y C Shim, general manager of Oakwood Premier Coex Center. “We do not just provide service apartments. We listen to our residents and believe that by doing so, wonderful memories can be created through their stays with us.”

The renovation has transformed the property’s classic interiors with a chic and contemporary design that appeals to international travelers. Each apartment has been outfitted with veneer wood flooring and dark wood furnishings, accentuated with clean sleek lines and a muted color palette of cream, brown and light gold. Touches on the kitchen, laundry room and living room also make the living space much bigger and more comfortable.

Oakwood Premier Coex Center has six apartment types — studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom suites and the penthouse.

Each apartment is outfitted with a king-size bed, dishwasher, microwave, conventional oven, TV, cable subscription and washer and dryer. All apartments except for the studios have their own sauna.

The property’s fitness center includes a gym, indoor swimming pool and screen golf range, as well as a banquet hall and meeting rooms that are equipped with a projector, screen, free wireless Internet connection, wireless microphone and audio visual system.

It is walking distance to the Samseong Station and close to the Bongeunsa Temple, Coex Mall and Hyundai Department Store. They are also near an array of restaurants that open late and on weekends. However, the property also has its own all-day dining restaurant Oak Restaurant & Bar, which serves a variety of cuisines.
